Hartlepool St. Francis Football Club
Frances had once been involved in the running of this club, so it was only natural that this was the first organisation to benefit from her lottery win. The club has over 300 players, across all ages and funding was given to allow the club to fund kit and trophies.
Hartlepool Mavericks Dodgeball Club
Being active is an important part of staying healthy and the PFC Trust have supported many sports organisations. One example is the Hartlepool Mavericks Dodgeball Club – the town's first Dodgeball Club. Established just a few years ago, the Club has already enjoyed huge success at National level, with several of their younger age group teams bringing home British Championship titles to Hartlepool. The membership has grown at a rapid rate, and our support for this very talented and dedicated Club has included the installation of flooring alongside other sponsorship.
Amy Richardson Studios
The Trust has ringfenced funding so that dancers will be able to attend the Dance World Cup. This is currently on hold due to Covid-19.
British Cycling Level 2 Course
Manilla Cycling, North East BMX, Hartlepool Borough Council and Hartlepool Sport are collectively delivering a Level 2 cycling course from British Cycling.
This will create 4 new level 2 cycling coaches at each club (8 in total), both of which operate from Summerhill. This supports both clubs in their plans to grow, and also benefits the local authority with their plans for developing cycling facilities at Summerhill and across the town.
Seaton Carew Cricket Club
The Trust has ring fenced funding towards a replacement wicket machine for the Hornby Park-based Cricket Club. The grant is conditional on the Club raising the remaining funds.
Hartlepool Divers Club
The PFC Trust has provided funding
towards the creation of a new club and boat house on Hartlepool’s prestigious marina, to ensure the longevity of the club for future generations. Building work is already under way.
