A new fundraising campaign for 2021

A typical carer spends 25 hours a week caring for loved ones. Taking this statistic as a starting point, The PFC Trust has launched a new fundraising initiative for 2021 based around the number 25. Initially, we are aiming to raise £50,000 to fund a new caravan for Hartlepool Carers, with additional sums being used as part of the Trust's Covid-19 response.

You can become involved in any way you'd like, as long as the number 25 is involved. You might want to do a sponsored slim and lose 25 pounds. You could post 25 dance routines on Tik Tok. You could aim to walk 25,000 steps a day for 25 days, or ride your bike for 25 days, aiming to cover 250 miles in that time. Bake 25 muffins and sell them for £1 each. Organise an online Zoom quiz for 10 people, with an entry fee of £2.50 each. You could even do 25 burpees a day... The options for raising funds are endless!

The first thing you should do is register your interest at uchangelives@thepfctrust.org. Having signed up at this e-mail address, all supporters will be sent an information pack, which will include full details about any parental consent required, photo and video release forms etc., as well as an individualised sponsorship form with your own unique reference code.

We'll feature all of the fundraisers' names on this web page when they sign up, and details of each fundraiser's challenge. We'd also love to share your photos and videos of how you are getting on.

We can't wait to hear about what you're planning to do. But hurry – the fund-raising campaign will run between now and Friday 2nd April 2021.
