Durham Women are supporting the work of The PFC Trust across the North East - by holding a special auction of one-off match-worn shirts to raise funds for the charity.

The Hartlepool-based charity do phenomenal work across the region in supporting good causes, and have worked closely with the Barclays Women's Championship side in recent years.




 

And Durham are once again supporting their work by by putting a number of match-worn shirts from the 2023/24 season up for auction.

 

The shirts available include a number of the club’s black away shirts, which were worn in a number of crucial away games during the campaign. Each match shirt available was worn by the corresponding player during the entire 2023/24 campaign and, in most cases, are also signed by the players. The auction will be conducted by MatchWornShirt, and will begin at 3pm on Friday, November 29.The auction will conclude on Saturday, December 7 at 2pm.To place a bid once the auction begins, and to view the items available, CLICK HERE!

 

Monies collected from the auction will be put back into the local community by the PFC Trust, just as it has done on a huge scale since it was founded in 2019 by Frances Connolly. Kelly Brooks, operations and fundraising manager at The PFC Trust, said: "The PFC Trust is thrilled to continue the partnership with Durham Women. 

 

"Their incredible support through this shirt auction will significantly boost our ability to fund vital projects across the North-East. 

 

"We're immensely grateful for their commitment to the work we do, and we're excited to see these unique match-worn shirts find new homes while making a real difference in local communities."
